NB attorneys filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against a publicly traded company, several hedge funds and their principals seeking in excess of $100 million in damages for interference with a corporate merger opportunity.  Several Defendants were represented by large national law firms.  

NB overcame numerous tactics including sham settlement offers and the bankruptcy and insolvency of several defendants.  The Defendants finally came to the negotiating table only after liability became clear and the case had been submitted.  According to Dan Navigato, the principal attorney prosecuting the action: "We were able to achieve a favorable settlement after years of battling Defendants and their attorneys.  Despite numerous obstacles, we never wavered from our steadfast focus on the client's goals.  In the end, it paid great dividends."  The terms of the settlement agreement are confidential.
