NB has prosecuted and defended numerous trade secret claims in both state and federal court. On the prosecution side, NB has litigated several "misappropriation of trade secret" cases, including a notably successful case against a large electronic component manufacturer. On the defense side, NB recently represented two clients who left a company to work for a start-up competitor. NB successfully defended its clients, obtaining a favorable court ruling, and ultimately negotiated a dismissal of the former employer's claim.
